Letters for support with housing applications

PLEASE NOTE LETTER REQUESTS CAN TAKE UP TO 4 WEEKS, SO WE ASK THAT YOU REQUEST THESE WELL IN ADVANCE. MOST LETTERS ARE NON-NHS WORK SO ARE SUBJECT TO A CHARGE

Please note that the practice does not recommend providing letters of support for housing applications. We find that these letters very rarely make a difference to your application and as they are non-NHS work they will have a charge. We recommend that patients who seek to provide medical information to support their housing application do this using their own medical record, which they can obtain for free.

Our recommendation is to ensure you are set up on the free Patient Access app, which will allow you full access to your medical record and you can print all the relevant parts from your record. Once you've registered with Patient Access (free), click the pink bar below so we can link you to your medical record. Should you not be able to do this, you can request a print out of your medical records by clicking on this link.

If you require more help about your rights with record to housing, we recommend contacting the Centre70 or Lambeth Citizens Advice, both are located nearby. If you need further advice on signposting for help in regards to housing or other social problems, we have a social prescriber that you can book to speak with on the phone. The social prescriber has excellent knowledge and links with agencies that could support you with various problems.
