Please note that you cannot get treatment for COVID-19 infection in the GP surgery. These are specialised medications that can only be provided by specialist treatment centres. If you have COVID-19 and have a positive PCR test, you may be eligible to receive COVID treatment therapy. Currently this is only those with a severe high risk health condition.

You will be contacted automatically by the specialist treatment centre if you are eligible. Please DO NOT call the practice regarding this. If you have contracted COVID within the last 5 days, have a positive PCR and are in the highest risk categories, please wait to be contacted by the specialist centres. If you've not heard from them and meet the eligibility criteria, please click here to a fill a form to request a referral from us. We can only refer people that definitely meet the eligibility criteria.

PANORAMIC trial

Patients not eligible for treatment in the specialist centres may qualify for the PANORAMIC trial. Patients can join the PANORAMIC trial if they are:

• Aged 50 years and over, or aged between 18 to 49 years with underlying health conditions that make them clinically more vulnerable

AND

• Have been unwell with COVID-19 for less than five days

AND

• Have a recorded positive test within the past seven days.
