BLOOD TESTS

When a clinician from the GP practice has completed a request form for a blood test, you can book your blood test online for appointments at:

• St Thomas’ Hospital (including Evelina London patients)

• Guy’s Hospital

• Gracefield Gardens

• Tessa Jowell health centre

Online booking is a change from our previous walk-in-only service. Having a time slot means we don’t have too many people waiting in the department at one time. We will still do the same number of tests as usual at each site. However, there are more options and support if you're unable to book online. If you have problem booking an appointment online, please either visit the clinic or call 020 7188 4778

IMAGING (RADIOLOGY)

South East London NHS has implemented a new electronic requesting system for radiology exams (X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI and Nuclear Medicine scans). This means that when your GP wants you to have one of these diagnostic examinations, there will no longer be a paper request form.  The results from this examination will also be sent back to the GP electronically. The process is slightly different depending on the type of exam.
